From New Zealand

A letter written to WPPD leadership from our dear brother Isaac in New Zealand (3/2/2011):
"You probably haven't heard but New Zealand suffered a terrible earthquake one week ago - many people have died and many more devastated by the earthquake which happened in one city called Christchurch.  I live in the capital Wellington, and Creator be thanked that we were not affected...However we have been busy with healing and recovery for all who were affected...Its not likely I will be able to get time to write an article now as we will be extremely busy helping out with the recovery stages of this disaster.

Suffice it to say - the deep fire's of heartfelt compassion ignited by the crisis of this devastating event have inspired all who have been affected by the earthquakes to remember we are all family...each man and woman and child were reminded by the power of our Maori god of earthquakes that all are equal in the face of adversity and it will take all of us to unite, recover and heal ...

The lack of drinkable water our communities have been experiencing since the earthquake reminds everyone of the
preciousness of water to our lives and that each drop is to be considered sacred to our livelihoods... and the tears that have been shed in silence serve to teach us that life is sacred and not to be taken lightly for each day is a gift.  This is my sharing for you at this time of deep pain, suffering and tragedy...

And through it all we are reminded that
prayers are the sacred healing binding agent that have the power to bring about great healing and unity when offered with deep humility and ceremony...

yesterday our entire country stood silent for 2 minutes and prayed for the families who have lost a family member, for those in pain, for those suffering hurt and loneliness and fear and for those braves who unconditionally give of themselves to uplift their community no matter the colour of their skin, no matter their politics or religion or gender...one love, unconditional, unconquerable, all pervasive and unitfying...
All my relations

Its possible this event could affect (my attendance) at WPPD2011...the road to recovery is a long long long journey for our whole country

Love and Light
I won't be online much as we get busy with aid to the various needs of those affected
In Christchurch.    Isaac
